Chelsea – Wichita Falls Senior Portraits
November 9th, 2010 § Leave a Comment
Yay for Seniors!

(You should all know by now that I am a junkie for jumping pictures…)
Anyway, meet Chelsea. She definitely knows how to work it!

And she is the cutest thing ever. I love her hair.

So yay for graduating Seniors!

On a side note, I have been a terribly neglectful photoblogger. I have been suuuuper busy the past month or so. Working three jobs isn’t always the best. But I do love what I do, so I can’t complain too much!
I am so excited about Thanksgiving. I love turkey and mashed potatoes. I am ready to stuff my face.
Jody & Jesse – Engagements!
October 14th, 2010 § 4 Comments
This is Jody & Jesse.

They were married over this past weekend in Archer City.

I wasn’t able to do their wedding, but I got their engagement shoot! Woot! I got to drive to the Middle of Nowhere, Texas to Jody’s parent’s house. They had horses. Real live horses. The 2nd Grader in me was freaking out.

Fun Factoids -
Jody is a Rodeo Queen and has been her whole life.
Jesse has his own company that owns the stands in hotels and places that hold brochures.

They are just perfect for each other and make a BEAUTIFUL couple. Very photogenic!
Best of luck to you both! Yay for love!

Crystal & Steven – Engagement photos!
September 27th, 2010 § Leave a Comment

You may remember Crystal, my favorite 4ner, from her Psuedo-Bridal session we had a few months ago.
Well, now she’s getting married – fo’ realz.

She and Steven are getting married next June.

And I get to be her Maid of Honor. Boo-ya! I cannot wait! I am beyond excited.

As I mentioned in our Psuedo-Bridals post, I’ve known Crystal since we were five years old. We are sisters separated at birth. I am truly happy for her and Steven. Steven is a great guy and treats her well. This is the happiest Crystal has even been and that makes me happy.
Brene & Rosetta – Models!

Yea-yah!

Meet Brene (the blonde) and & Rosetta (the brunette).

They drove down from Altus, Oklahoma.

Don’t worry, I don’t know where it is either. I do know it’s in Southwest Oklahoma.

It was really hot outside – shocking, I know.

Either way, they these gals rocked it and I am very pleased with how these turned out.

aka a-personal-Orlando-Bloom-look-a-like

See?

Cameron was a total trooper the day we went out to shoot. It was 101 degrees and we were out there around noon.

We’re smart Oklahoma folk.

In other news, I’ve been super busy with photography stuff. In my que, I have a wedding, engagement shoot, models, and a softball tournament. I’ve also been picking up business for the 2011 year. I have already booked five or six weddings.
Busy, busy, busy.
Sam & Andrea – Wichita Falls Wedding
August 29th, 2010 § 6 Comments
Hello World! Meet Sam and Andrea.

A really great couple. Sam’s the funny man.

They were married on Saturday, August 7th.

At The Wellington. The ceremony was outside and it was toasty!

After the ceremony, the reception was held indoors. Lots of dancing happened.

I came across some good advice.

Congrats again to Sam and Andrea! You guys are great!
Monica & Louis – Wedding!
August 12th, 2010 § 4 Comments
Louis and Monica were married on July 17th in Iowa Park, Texas.

You’ve already met Monica. Aka one of the nicest people in the history of the world.

See those pearls? Louis stuck them into her shoe box the morning of the wedding.

I love shooting rings. They are my favorite shots to do. And yay for stained glass!

At the reception, they had a great four piece band playing. They played standards/easy listening music. I think they knew those are my favorite genres of music. Because weddings are all about me, right?

Monica and Louis exited through sparklers…which sounds like a great idea, but everyone was standing really close so it became a lot of smoke and possible fire hazards. It looks like they are escaping action-movie-style.

As I said before, their honeymoon took them to Alaska. They posted some pictures on Facebook and it looks beautiful! Everything was lush and green, unlike most of Texas.
Bridals – Monica

Meet Monica!

We had her bridals done about a week before her wedding.

Monica is sooo nice. Seriously one of the nicest people I’ve ever met.

She and Louis were married on the 17th of July.

They went to Alaska for their Honeymoon. That’s the most unique location I’ve heard yet!

Hot Chicks!

My first product review. Woohoo!
SanLori is based out of Arkansas and offers many, many different paper products and designs. From invitations to thank you cards, they’ve got something to please everyone.
They recently sent me a candle from their newest collection known as Hot Chicks (retail $20).

How cute!!
They have a To: & From: space on the back – how convenient is that!

“Hot Chick candles are gift packaged with a to: and from: gift tag right on the box and are perfect for any age. With names like Espresso Yourself and Olive My Love, “Hot Chicks,” exude a playful approach to life. If you are looking for a warm fuzzy…here it is, topped off with a fuchsia feather plume. And let us not overlook the scents! They are all very unique and each evokes a different sensibility. Are you fiery, strong, in demand, fresh, competitive, attractive, menopausal, sexy, fashionable or maybe just flat out fierce? Then you…are a “Hot Chick.””
They have a handful of very unique smells.

Their other scents include:
Sea & Be Seen – a wash of Ocean Breeze & White Ginger. Your motto: Sun, Surf & Smiles. You direct your feet… to the sunny side of the street!”

La Vie Gypsy - a mixture of the ancient oils of Sandalwood & Patchouli. Your motto: “Don’t tell me how educated you are, tell me how much you traveled.”

Expresso Yourself – an infusion of cappuccino & hazelnut. Your motto: “I haven’t had my coffee yet, don’t make me kill you.”

French Kiss - blends of lavender and verbena that evokes the warmth of the fields of Provence. Instant romance. Your motto: “Comprenez-vous Fabulous?”

Olive My Love – a tasty combo of olive, sage & thyme. Your motto: “La Dolce Vita! You want olive it!”

And, Cosmo Compatible – a mélange of cranberry and citrus liqueur, Your motto:” If the shoe fits, buy it in every color!”
Cosmo and Sea & Be Seen were my two favorites. I hate coffee, so I didn’t enjoy Expresso Yourself as many others would.
