Sam & Andrea – Wichita Falls Wedding

Hello World! Meet Sam and Andrea.

A really great couple. Sam’s the funny man.

They were married on Saturday, August 7th.

At The Wellington. The ceremony was outside and it was toasty!

After the ceremony, the reception was held indoors. Lots of dancing happened.

I came across some good advice.

Congrats again to Sam and Andrea! You guys are great!
Monica & Louis – Wedding!

Louis and Monica were married on July 17th in Iowa Park, Texas.

You’ve already met Monica. Aka one of the nicest people in the history of the world.

See those pearls? Louis stuck them into her shoe box the morning of the wedding.

I love shooting rings. They are my favorite shots to do. And yay for stained glass!

At the reception, they had a great four piece band playing. They played standards/easy listening music. I think they knew those are my favorite genres of music. Because weddings are all about me, right?

Monica and Louis exited through sparklers…which sounds like a great idea, but everyone was standing really close so it became a lot of smoke and possible fire hazards. It looks like they are escaping action-movie-style.

As I said before, their honeymoon took them to Alaska. They posted some pictures on Facebook and it looks beautiful! Everything was lush and green, unlike most of Texas.

Meet Monica!

We had her bridals done about a week before her wedding.

Monica is sooo nice. Seriously one of the nicest people I’ve ever met.

She and Louis were married on the 17th of July.

They went to Alaska for their Honeymoon. That’s the most unique location I’ve heard yet!

And my final wedding for June.
Randilyn & Mark.

They were married in the same church that her parents were.

It was fun to watch Randilyn get all purdy-ed up. They had two curling irons going and one girl holding a mirror while Randilyn applied her makeup.

A great simple ceremony! Just the kind I like. This picture also shows off my ninja skills. I usually try to stay toward the back and the sides so I don’t get too close and disrupt anything.

Le Smooch!

This, by far, is one of my favorite ‘The Rings’ shots. Well, minus the big fat “j-wood photography”. I just love the deep purple against the white background and the silver of the rings and fork/knife poking out at the top.

Another fun details shot.
I wish them the best and hope they have a great time on their cruise later this year.
I am pretty stoked because I have another wedding to shoot today – Louis & Monica. Should be fun! Hopefully this week I’ll post some pictures of Monica’s bridal session.

And wedding numero dos – Gina and Virgil.

I did their engagement pictures earlier this year and wound up getting two referrals from them.

They had a pretty simplistic wedding. The ceremony and reception were in the same room.

They are a really great couple.

Very laid back and just cool people.

I do wish them the best of luck and hope they have a wonderful life together!

Oh man! Weddings galore! I had three weddings in June.
This was the first of the three – Becky & Dustin.
Here’s the beautiful Bride, Becky. (Ooh, look at that alliteration!)
And the Groom, Dustin. (He’s trying to escape…)
The sexy legs of the ladies…
…the amazing athleticism of the gentlemen.
I believe this was the Groom’s idea. They didn’t want to see each other before hand, but this was the next best thing.
Officially hubby and wifey.
They had a great first dance. Started with a slow song then they busted out an awesome choreographed routine.
And then they left for St. Lucia and, yes, I’m jealous.
This last picture is my absolute favorite. Love it!

This is my best friend Crystal.
She’s not really getting married anytime soon.
Crystal and I have been friends since kindergarten.
So, going on 18 years now. Wow. Awesome stuff, huh?
She really is the best friend anyone could ask for. She’s always there when I need her. She’s honest and open with me. She makes me laugh. She makes me cry. She puts others before herself – a trait that is far and few between.
Not to mention, she’s a real trooper. It was so hot outside when we were shooting these pictures.
In high school, people would confuse us. It’s kind of hard to imagine because she’s a tiny, 4n, little Hottie McHottHott and I’m 5’7, not 4n, and feel like a giant next to her.
Do you have a friend like that? A best friend? Maybe more than one?
